HITMEN v STOKE - PREVIEW

Saturday May 19, 2018
BUXTON entertain their local rivals Stoke in the National Trophy at Hi-Edge Raceway on Sunday afternoon at 3pm.

Both sides have injury concerns after Saturday evening’s clash at Loomer Road with team manager Joshua Moss commented “We will wait and see what the result is of Corban’s (Pavitt) x-rays and we will then go from there, if he is ruled out then it will be a case of burning the midnight oil to bring in a guest to replace him. We already have a guest coming in for David Wallinger who has been taken ill with Anders Rowe coming in as a guest and we will be using rider replacement for Connor (Coles). Things are still a little raw over last night as certain things did not go in our favour and I didn’t feel we were given the best opportunity to race and compete with the conditions and that is something we had to deal with. We have three young lads in the team and it’s a tough ask but when you are not having any luck at all it really puts things against you. If we can get through period then I’m sure we will reap the rewards in the end and we will be doing our upmost to turn the tables on our visitors on Sunday afternoon.”

Stoke will await a decision on their reserve William O’Keefe before making a decision on their reserve partnership while they will also operate rider replacement for Rob Shuttleworth.
