WILSON SIGNS ON FOR HITMEN

Sunday January 14, 2018
FORMER British Under-21 Champion Ben Wilson has become the fourth signing for the Buxton Hitmen for the 2018 season.

Sheffield based Wilson is delighted to be linking up with the Hitmen saying “I’m delighted to have signed for Buxton for this coming season. It is a fresh challenge for me at Hi-Edge raceway and it’s a track I’ve also ridden well on and scored well on when visiting with other clubs and a big thing for me this year is that it is a weekend track and it’s local only just being an hour away from home which will also allow my family to attend more meetings. I enjoyed my time on the Isle of Wight last season but have to admit that the traveling was a lot for home meetings especially when having to get to work the following day but it was an enjoyable time. The Buxton team is taking shape and I’m looking forward to the season starting, I already know Connor (Coles) who rode with me for the Warriors last season and Tom (Woolley) knows the place well so we can hopefully have a good season for the Hitmen this year.”

Team manager Josh Moss commented “I’m really pleased that we’ve agreed a deal with Ben to bring him to Hi-Edge raceway, he is a very good rider to have in our team and he offers experience in order to help our team progress in developing throughout the season as well as contributing on track with his performances and I really feel he will be a great asset to the club this season.”
